IGNITE is an artist representation and consulting company, founded by Ves Pitts and Jason LeBlond. IGNITE specializes in licensing, branding, merchandise design, publishing, limited editions and exhibitions. IGNITE represents a diverse roster of talent which includes visual artists, fashion designers, photographers and filmmakers. IGNITE forms strategic partnerships which enhance the appeal and public’s recognition of its innovative artists.

IGNITE represents a new movement of hot emerging artists, recognition of their work is spreading like wild-fire via applications of their art on product forms that include highly sought after items like: hand painted canvas bags by Adam Razak; hand silk-screened t-shirts and totes by Scooter LaForge; and a wallpaper collection, currently in development by Kevin Baker, known for his lush floral paintings. These artists and more will exhibit original artwork, in addition to samples of their products. Stella Zotis, who appeared on Project Runway, known for her Custom Rock Regalia fashion designs, will present an art piece made out of leather, as well as a selection of her trademark accessories.

Many of the artists are already established in the realm of fine art, such as Barnaby Whitfield who masterfully blends surrealism and kitsch, beauty and horror into his pastel paintings. The paintings of Hawk Alfredson and Liz Downing are equally surreal, filled with symbolism and intriguing animal imagery. Other IGNITE artists have developed a following for their performance based work and/or colorful nightlife personas, and now make their creative apparel designs available for followers that wish to own a piece of their signature style, i.e. living work of art Muffinhead; and Deryck Todd, previewing his new urban glam hat collection. Also featured in IGNITE’s underground fashion presentation will be punk inspired silk-screened t-shirts by Scooter LaForge, which are often dirty and humorous but always totally desirable; in addition to inter-disciplinary artist Inbred Hybrid Collective, who will emcee, provide décor and also present shirts; and finally, unique hats by Couture de La Marine Debris, made from recycled discarded materials found on the beach.

The IGNITE gallery show at Envoy (from 7 to 10pm) will be followed by an after-party and fashion presentation downstairs at Home Sweet Home bar, in conjunction with White Lodge Mondays. The fashion presentation will begin promptly at 10:30pm. Home Sweet Home is located at the same address as Envoy, directly beneath the gallery.
