Asrul Dwi for Try State Magazine

I love finding emerging artists and photographers. Arul is a young photographer from Indonesia whose angst and self proclaimed loneliness make for some very raw and explosive images. His ability to capture himself, tell his story and convey his inner self is so rare. Asrul's youth is refreshing yet he is conceptually mature. Wait until you see the print pieces in our next issue!
