Max Steele - Contributing to Try State Magazine, Issue Two

Max Steele is a performer, writer and artist. He has presented work at Galapagos Art Space, Rapture Café, Deitch Projects Long Island City, and Dixon Place's 2008 HOT! Festival. He writes the experimental porno zine called Scorcher, is a contributor to East Village Boys, and his writing has been featured in HX Magazine, Fag School, Birdsong, and New York's PPOW Gallery. Steele has been profiled in AXM Magazine and was an Interview Magazine "Discovery" for the December 2008/January 2009 'Art' issue. In 2006, he starred in Dan Fishback's political satire, "Waiting for Barbara." His band, Max Steele and the Party Ice has toured the country. www.myspace.com/thepartyice
